| Eligibility Criteria | Inclusion Criteria: Acute phase ischemic stroke patients with onset < 72 hours, aged 45–65 years, willing to participate in the study by signing the informed consentExclusion Criteria: Aphasia, decreased level of consciousness; sleep disorders prior to the stroke event; sleep disorders such as OSA or RLS; medical conditions such as chronic kidney failure, heart failure, lung disease, malignancy; psychiatric disorders such as depression, anxiety, and severe to very severe stress; neurological diseases such as chronic pain, neuropathic pain, central post-stroke pain, brain tumor, Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease; obesity (BMI ≥ 30 kg/m²); consuming coffee, alcohol, or smoking; taking hypnotic drugs, stimulants, phenytoin, phenobarbital, allopurinol, probenecid, fenofibrate, or thiazide prior to the stroke; postmenopausal women |
